Day 1

Its day 1 of our collaborative art journaling project. Chéryl Poulin and myself, Catherine Gutsche, have obtained 2 identical watercolour paper journals. Our plan is to create our covers and the first 2 pages of the journal then meet, chat and swap. The next step will be to paint up 2 more pages then meet, chat and swap. This will continue until we have two completed art journals.

My state of mind today was a bit stressed, only because I want my cover to be great! Once I'm over this hump I'm up for just playing. Trying out new techniques, new materials. So I have designated Sunday as the day to get over this hump and just do it. So far the gesso is down. Stay tuned.
